Fair Lawn N.J. - Novelens, Inc. introduces a new device to improve contact lenses care.
The Novelens device is a patented Dual Chamber contact lens case that separates deposits.
Poor lens care is known to be a major factor in contact lens complications. Most users are non compliant and tend to ignore instructions, they do not care for their lenses or their storage case. They are wrongfully assuming that by the time they replace their lenses, no clinical complications would have happened.
Contact lens wearer should know that regardless of their lens type
or replacement program that the lenses were prescribed for; these
lenses must be cleaned and conditioned in a fresh solution before
being placed back into the eyes. It is that simple.
Another well-documented problem is contaminated storage cases.
Many studies revealed that more than half of the users' storage cases
are soiled with bacteria that could be harmful to their eyes. Still most

Novelens contact lens case
Traditional lens case could be severely contaminated
While replenishing solution into the Novelens case,
it swirls the lens and drains the deposits into a
separated lower chamber.
The upper chamber then fills with fresh solution,
storing the lenses overnight in clean solution.
The next day, the cleaned lenses are inserted back into the eyes and the used solution is emptied from the case. The spent solution can not be reused because it drained out from peripheral holes and does not reach the upper chamber, assuring
that in the next cleaning cycle the lenses will be treated only with fresh solution.
The user now starts the day with fresh lenses which are promoting comfort, clarity, extended wear time, and healthy oculars.
Novelens is designed for use with any of the Multi Purpose Solutions and all soft contact lenses.
The Novelens case is retailed at $9.99, a small investment towards preventing contact lens complications.
